Evaluation and Treatment of Suicidal Youth - Members Only – $150.00
PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
This course is designed to provide therapists with a stronger ability to assess risk levels, increase safety, and adapt already known approaches to fit pediatric clients currently experiencing suicidal ideation.
Evaluation and Treatment of Suicidal Youth -Non-members – $200.00
PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
Action methods employ sensory attention, movement and role-playing to heighten the impact of psychological interventions. This experiential and interactive workshop introduces therapists at all levels of training and experience to at least three specific examples of action methods that may be applied to a broad variety of situations/problems frequently encountered in couples therapy.

This is a 2 -part workshop.

You MUST attend both sessions to obtain your CEUs.

More and more, therapists are coming across actively suicidal youth in their practices. It's often not possible to screen out these clients, and with the shortage of providers across the nation, it is often not possible to refer out in a timely manner. This course is designed to provide therapists with a stronger ability to assess risk levels, increase safety, and adapt already known approaches to fit pediatric clients. Through the use of case discussion, role plays, and the highlighting of common methods and approaches, clinicians will gain the tools needed to effectively treat suicidal youth that are appropriate for outpatient treatment while maintaining overall safety.

Presenter: Cally Sullivan, LMHC

Presenter is currently a pediatric therapist in private practice that specializes in treating children and adolescents that have experienced suicidal ideation/ actions and self-harm behaviors. Presenter was previously a child focused mobile crisis clinician, in home therapist, and a residential clinician in a congregate care setting.
