Supervision of Community Based Treatment, Joseph Weeks, LMHC

Home and community based services have become an integral part of behavioral health treatment under the Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI), and an acceptedservice modality under other programs as well. This workshop will provide a look at the "wraparound approach" and how to work within a care team system. Topics will include different levels of in home services, treatment types and requirements for treatment. What questions to ask your supervisees and very importantly, what will need to be in the treatment record.

Joseph Weeks, LMHCis a program director and supervisor for the CBHI program at BayState Community Services, Inc., Plymouth. He has been the Director of Public Policy for MaMHCA since 2014, and is serving as President of the MaMHCA Board 2015-2016. He is Adjunct Faculty at Bridgewater State University and also has a private practice in Pembroke, MA.
