2024 MaMHCA Annual Conference
Join MaMHCA at our 2024 Annual Conference as we explore the challenges to accessing a sense of belonging as we enter the workforce, as we interface with our colleagues, and as we provide services to clients.

Friday Evening, October 4, 2024, from 6 PM - 10 PM
The Conference will start at 6 pm on Friday evening, October 4, 2024, with a brief Annual Meeting of the membership and Awards Ceremony, followed by the President’s Reception and networking event until 10 pm.
Saturday morning, October 5, 2024, from 9 AM -12 PM
Our panel of diverse LMHCs will address the following questions, and more during our Saturday morning 3-hour Plenary session.

Does this ability to have a voice at the table change depending on the environment in which we work?

Do our personal identifiers, such as age, gender, ability, race, religion or others, effect the opportunity to have a seat at the table?

How does the client demographic impact the sense of belonging for both client and therapist?

And what can MaMHCA do to be more open and supportive, assist with needed changes, and help Build the Bridges?

You will have time during lunch to take a walk, network, and chat with our sponsors

There will be two sets of 90-minute breakout sessions with a 20-minute break between them.
Saturday Wrap-up October 5, 2024
The day will end with a recap, wrap-up and instructions on how to obtain your CEU certificate

We are currently seeking presenters for conference breakout sessions. Please submit proposals by Thursday, July 25th.
All sessions should be related to the Conference Theme. Some suggested topics include:
- Building a DEIB support system in the workplace
- DEI models and how to implement them [MSJCC, ADDRESSING, etc]
- Working with Service and Therapy Animals
- Or any other topic related to the theme.
