This is an In Person Session
in the Bergstrom Training Center in Foxboro.
Adults often have a difficult time helping children process grief and loss. This workshop will introduce participants to the basics of grief work and counseling with children, teens and young adults. We will highlight best practices and current challenges when working with young people who are bereaved. Consideration will be given to approaches with under-represented populations in a trauma-informed approach. We will highlight the use of the expressive therapies with grief work and introduce some replicable experientials for participants to use in their own practices.
