MaMHCA Exam Prep Offered in Foxboro and Western MA!
February 1, 2018 04:12 PM
This March MaMHCA will continue to offer it's acclaimed LMHC Examination Preparation courses in both the home office in Foxboro, MA (Mar. 11-12), and in the western part of Massachusetts at Westfield State University (Mar. 18-19). Last year, 2017, marked the first year that Westfield State collaborated with MaMHCA to host this course and bring our trainers out to their campus.
Both courses will provide the same fantastic preparation to take the Massachusetts State Licensure Examination (the NCMHCE), including in-depth overview of the key content areas on the exam. By design, these courses span over a 2 day period and are limited to about 20 people. With these parameters, courses instructors can keep the learning environment small and more individualized for the participants. Additionally, folks who attend also are able to network with others and often find others interested in forming study groups after the course.
Those who have already taken the NCMHCE can tell you that it is unlike any other test taking experience. To help prepare for this, MaMHCA courses not only provide traditional test taking techniques and insights, but also sample tests which are modeled after the actual NCMHCE Exam. Participants also receive the PTI Clinical Mental Health Counselor Handbook & Study Guide to help continue their preparation on all areas covered after the course.
