MaMHCA’s New Private Practice Consultation Program!

get your questions about private practice answered.
Feel like you are just winging it in private practice? Are you looking for direction, support, reassurance, or clarification about your private practice business? Many passionate LMHCs in private practice are unsure of their next steps or whether what they are currently doing is “right” or have received conflicting advice from others. We’re here to help set the record straight, boost your business confidence, and support your successful practice. Join our private practice community to receive feedback on building a sustainable, meaningful, ethical, and successful business! This service is available to MaMHCA members only, who have also taken the workshop, “Bringing Your Private Practice to Life”, led by Jenn Hurley, LMHC and Stacey Pimentel, LMHC, MaCCS.
The following pre-requisites must be fulfilled prior to enrollment in our private practice community and registration for a session. It is essential that all participants have the same foundational knowledge from which the sessions will build upon.

Licensed in Massachusetts
Bringing Your Private Practice to Life workshop
Current Liability Insurance
The Private Practice Consultation Program includes a choice of small group experiences and/or individual consultation sessions. See pricing below.
Consultation Service Fees:
1 Hour Group Session: Minimum of 3 people; Maximum of 10 people; $30 per person
1 Hour Individual Session: $75 or
½ Hour Individual Session: $45
Package Sessions: 5 (1 Hour) Individual Sessions = $318.75 (15% discount applied)

The information provided in the private practice consultations is informed by the most updated/recent Codes of Ethics of the American Mental Health Counseling Association (AMHCA) and the American Counseling Association (ACA), Massachusetts law, and the regulations of the MA Board Of Allied Mental Health And Human Services Professions (262 CMR), governing the Licensing and Practice of LMHCs. Private practice consultations are not considered clinical supervision, and MaMHCA, and the consultants working on behalf of MaMHCA, are not responsible for clinical, business, and/or legal and ethical decisions made by any consultee in their individual practices.
