Participants will gain an understanding of the theoretical and practical uses of play therapy. Through a didactic and experiential training, participants will learn how play therapy can enhance current practices. Individual, group, and family therapy techniques will be learned as well as age specific modifications. Stefani Misiph, LMHC is in private practice in Framingham, MA.
She is a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor and has recently become an adjunct faculty member at Lesley University. Stefani received her Masters in Expressive Therapy in 2001 and has been working with children and families in a variety of settings since that time.
Stefani is currently the Vice President of the NEAPT board and coordinates the annual conferences. She recently complete the APT national Leaership Acaemy She provides trainings in the area and enjoys the supervision and teaching of play therapy. Stefani is the mother of two young children and enjoys infusing play into all the aspects of her life.
