Another Way to Donate to the Haberman-Williams MaMHCA Scholarship Fund

The Haberman-Williams MaMHCA scholarship fund was established in 2010 by the Massachusetts Mental Health Counselor Association (MaMHCA) and is named in the honor of two people who have played integral roles in the development and success of Licensed Mental Health Counselors in Massachusetts - Berna Haberman, founder of MaMHCA and Midge Williams, long-time MaMHCA Executive Director.

The purpose of the scholarship is to recognize a MaMHCA member who is an outstanding graduate student in mental health counseling and who exemplifies the ideal mental health counseling student through academic performance and commitment to mental health counseling.

One of the ways that we raise money to fund our scholarship is through silent auctions at various events throughout the year and we are continually looking for quality prizes to include in our raffle. If you would like to donate a prize, a service, or perhaps a book that you have written we would love to include it in our next silent auction.

To donate to the Haberman-Williams MaMHCA Scholarship Fund send your auction item to:

This year's Silent Auction at our Annual Conference achieved new heights raising close to $1000.00 in support of the Haberman Williams MaMHCA Scholarship Fund. That supports one entire scholarship award to a graduate student!  Thankfully, the Red Sox won the World Series and the Red Sox donation of a baseball autographed by Clay Buchholtz went for $300.00
