Welcome to MaMHCA’s Continuing Education Webinar Series
Video Webinar: Working with Step Families: With Judy Osborne, LMFT, LMHC
We have all been there. Even when relationships are good, working with step families can be very complex. Join Judy Osborne for her thoughts on working with what she terms, ”Blended Families”. Judy Osborne has over thirty years of experience in working with Blended Families, helping them to negotiate new and evolving roles as families grow and change.
This was the last workshop that Judy presented for MaMHCA, before she retired from practice in Massachusetts and moved out-of-state. Take advantage of this opportunity to hear a very thoughtful practitioner and teacher speak from her vast experience working with families while practicing at Stepfamilies Associates in Brookline, MA.
Judy Osborne is a licensed mental health counselor and family therapist with 30 years of experience including individual, family and group counseling, teaching, supervision and consultation with schools and mental health agencies. Her work focuses on issues of marriage, separation, divorce and stepfamily living as well as concerns about family alcoholism and substance use/abuse. She is the author of Wisdom for Separated Parents: Rearranging Around the Children to Keep Kinship Strong (Praeger, 2011).
