This workshop will present a model for understanding the underlying neurobiological causes of these challenges which can enable the supervisor to make sense of the overwhelming symptoms and offer more informed treatment recommendations. In addition, trauma-related transference and risk-management issues will be addressed, along with interventions meant to anticipate and address these issues well before they confound the treatment.
