MaMHCA provides workshops on becoming licensed for graduate programs and mental health agencies all over the Commonwealth. We help both schools and agencies help new and experienced clinicians learn about the process of becoming an LMHC, evaluate their situations to asses where they are in the process, and what they need to do to apply. We also help with issues related to supervision and program compliance with the CMR-262.
The rules that govern LMHC licensure in Massachusetts are the CMR 262. CMR 262 can be found through the website of the Allied Board of Mental Health and Human Services Professions.
MaMHCA has many resources for helping individuals become licensed in MA. Please see our Licensure Support page.
